Samoan Restaurant Tala Awarded Two Hats and Named ‘New Restaurant of the Year’ at the Cuisine Good Food Awards 2024

New Zealand’s first modern Samoan restaurant, Tala, has been awarded two hats and named ‘New Restaurant of the Year’ in the prestigious Cuisine Good Food Awards.

These awards honor the very best of New Zealand’s dining scene, and this is the first time a Samoan restaurant has been among the winners.

By awarding Tala two coveted ‘hats,’ the Cuisine judging panel recognized it as “consistently outstanding.” The additional accolade for ‘New Restaurant of the Year’ highlights Tala for “showcasing excellence in all levels of hospitality within a unique new concept and space.”
